Ignatieff heckled by farmers: Warren Kinsella misses an important detail

From Warren Kinsella's blog, concerning Michael Ignatieff's visit to a farm:

Somehow, I just can't picture Mr. Angry [Prime Minister Stephen Harper] doing this [picture of Michael Ignatieff on a float in a parade]. In fact, I can't picture Mr. Angry - ensconced within his RCMP-and-minion bubble - knowing what to say to an actual farmer.

I won't presume to imagine what Stephen Harper might say to a farmer, but I expect that Stephen Harper has met plenty of farmers and cattle ranchers over the years.  And actually spoken to them.  What with being raised in Calgary.

Warren Kinsella can't picture Stephen Harper knowing what to say to a farmer?  Really?  Apparently Warren Kinsella lacks imagination.

In any case, I hope those meetings went better than Michael Ignatieff's difficult encounter:

Tax harmonization isn't going over well with some farmers who've gathered in northern Ontario for the International Plowing Match.

The marquee event attracts thousands of people each year, including federal and provincial politicians who take part in a parade before the festivities begin.

A small group of unhappy farmers heckled federal Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff about the single sales tax as his float passed by.

John and Lee McIlwraith say they shouted at Ignatieff to stop the single sales tax because they're concerned about the impact it will have on their cattle business.

Ignatieff has said he wouldn't block the agreements the federal Conservatives signed with the provinces on tax harmonization if he became prime minister.

Funny that Warren Kinsella forgot to mention the heckling.  Funny thing is, I have no trouble whatsoever picturing Michael Ignatieff being heckled.

Warning:  I'll be monitoring comments here closely.  Warren Kinsella, for reasons I don't quite understand, attracts some of the worst personal attacks.  They won't be tolerated, especially as I have my suspicion that some are by troublemakers just trying to stir up problems.
