According to the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, on Saturday, October 25, 2008 -- yesterday -- authorization was granted to create the domain "ignatieffquotes.ca".
There is nothing at that domain yet, and as per CIRA policy, we don't know who registered the domain.
But it is an intriguing name for a website. It might be a list of wise statements made by Michael Ignatieff in speeches or in print.
But I doubt it, not if it was created by Michael Ignatieff's team. That wouldn't get its own site. Michael Ignatieff's web people would put a page on the main site for that sort of thing instead of isolating that sort of thing in a different domain.
I have a feeling that this might be a variation of "Stop Iggy". People who don't want Michael Ignatieff to bring the Liberal Party to the centre are hoping to embarrass him by listing his more controversial comments.
Or it might be a Conservative Party or NDP site, but I doubt it. Neither is likely to go after Michael Ignatieff, at least not before a leadership race is complete and he actually wins.
I guess we'll see soon enough.
