Come on.  I get to brag once in a while.

I was one of three bloggers who were profiled on The National tonight.  I think it was a great introduction to bloggers and blogging.

But did you hear when Susan Ormiston called me a heat-seeking missile?

I'm going to be strutting all week.

Main Story

If you saw The National this evening, you got to meet some of Canada's top .  A segment by Susan Ormiston profiled me, Jason Cherniak, and Devin Johnston.

Jason provides a longer post, and when the video is available online, I'll link it in [update: the video is now available]. But come on.  If you saw the piece last night, you heard how they described me:

I think I have a new tagline for the blog.  And maybe a new nickname: "Fox Two".  "Fox Two" is how fighter pilots announce the launch of a heat-seeking missile.

It's short.  It's punchy.  I like it.  Let's see if it catches on.

Update: A very important blogger friend suggested "Heat Seeker".   I think I like it better.

OK, time to come back to reality.  Bloggers have earned a permanent place on the news spectrum, and thanks to all of our readers who made that happen.  And thanks to our pals at the CBC for recognizing that, and for having put so much focus on blogs in this cycle.

Now it's time to get back to some serious blogging.  And some strutting.  Oh yeah.  I'm going to be impossible to live with for the next 24 to 48 hours.  Heh.
