In Tibet, people who oppose are forced to live in fear, but despite that are rising in opposition, even though it might cost them their lives.
In Canada, there are people whose job it is to oppose and are paid handsomely to do it, but refuse to rise in opposition, because they fear it might cost them their perks and privileges.
The Liberals like to say that they are waiting for the right moment to trigger an election, because if they choose a less than optimum time, Canada might end up with a Conservative majority.
Well, that's what we have right now.
The only difference between a real majority and the practical majority created by nervous Liberals today is that after an election there would be fewer Liberals getting MP paycheques.
That's the fear that keeps Liberal MPs in their seats. Not a fear of Conservative government, and certainly not a fear of Stephane Dion.
