Clint Westwood is a budding filmmaker in Missoula, Montana. His genius encompasses capturing scenes of lewd and disgusting antics:

A 22-year-old University of Montana student was charged with assault Friday for shoving a pumpkin pie into Santa Claus' face at Southgate Mall.

Clint Westwood, a drama major at UM, said he videoed Wednesday evening's pie-throwing prank, and will include the clip in a documentary film he's making called “My Crazy Life,” a montage of absurd, often vulgar, and occasionally illegal antics.

Westwood, who said he took up acting because his name so closely resembles Clint Eastwood's, has committed even more galling hijinks against the winter holiday icon in years past, and said his film will include footage of him sitting on Santa's lap and urinating.

So this is part of a series of assaults on Santa Claus.

Nice guy.

But perhaps the most depressing this about Westwood is that he isn't even very original. This drama major admits his work is derivative:

Westwood said he was inspired to make “My Crazy Life” after meeting professional skateboarder Bam Margera several years ago. Margera came into prominence as a reality television personality known for his shenanigans and tomfoolery.

I suppose if there is one redeeming quality to Clint Westwood, it is that the reports do not have him defending his behaviour with a constant stream of pseudo-intellectual balderdash seasoned with a healthy sprinkling of left-wing politics that frames his actions in the context of global resistance against neo-fascism, or whatever. Unlike Thorarrin Ingi Jonsson, Clint Westwood has the honesty to describe his stupidity as stupidity.

Maybe art majors with more time than sense are cut from a different cloth in Missoula than the ones we have to deal with here in Toronto.
