The Case against Blair Wilson -- The Whistler Question

The seventh charge against former Liberal MP Blair Wilson under investigation by Elections Canada focuses on how advertising in the Whistler Question was accounted for:

Whistler Question: Mr Wilson did not report ads in the Whistler Question. Copies of several of his ads are enclosed. In keeping with prices at other similar papers the cost of these are can [sic] be conservatively estimated at a aminimum of $1,800.00 He ran:

  2. A 1/4 page ad on January 5, 2006
  3. A 1/4 page ad on January 12, 2006
  4. A full page ad on January 12, 2006
  5. A full page ad on January 19, 2006
  6. It is very likely he ran ads before December 22, 2005 as he did in other papers
