"No Gun No Funeral" is the catch-phrase coined by Michael Bryant who is pushing for a handgun ban. It is also the name of a website promoting the same thing, but that was originally presented as a non-partisan site with no connection to any party or politician.
Ontario Attorney General Michael Bryant has since admitted that the website No Gun No Funeral is his. It is promoting his idea of a handgun ban, but is doing so anonymously. Or it was until it was revealed that all the people who administer the site were members of the Michael Bryant's constituency office.
Bryant insisted, however, that constituency resources were not used to make the website.
The website is accessible through two domains -- NoGunNoFuneral.ca and NoGunNoFuneral.com.

The first thing that strikes me is that the .com lists the Provincial Liberal Association for Michael Bryant's riding as the registrant of the domain. That information is missing from the Canadian registration record, listing only Glenn Brown as an individual (Brown is the president of the PLA). The omission of the PLA as the registrant is convenient since it supports Bryant's assertion that the website is not being operated out of the riding office.
So why is that potentially embarrassing information in the .com record? Besides that difference, there is one other difference. Both the .com and .ca domains were registered on July 24, but the .ca record was modified three days later, on July 27.
If both domains were created simultaneously, it seems reasonable to assume that they shared the same registration information.
Did someone deleted the references from the riding association in the Canadian domain record three days after the record was created? If so, why?
Curious.
