Michael Colle was Dalton McGuinty's minister of Citizenship and Immigration, until he was forced to resign over a scathing report from the auditor-general that revealed $32 million in year-end grants were essentially shoved out the door of the ministry with no oversight or formal process.
Reading the official Ontario Liberal Party biography of Michael Colle, though, you would never know that:
Mike Colle was elected for his third term to represent the Eglinton-Lawrence riding in October 2003. He was appointed Minister of Citizenship and Immigration in June 2005.
Prior to that he served...
Yes, he was appointed in June 2005, but he's not minister anymore, is he?
Here is a screen grab of the page:

It will be interesting to see if the OLP adds the bit about his resignation, or simply removes any mention of being minister.
Gerry Phillips' biography makes no mention that he is taking over from Colle. Of course, Phillips would want people to know the breadth of his responsibilities, so at least part of him would be happy with total honesty.
If the Liberal Party does decide to update Michael Colle's biography, they had better do a careful job. Under "Delivering Results for Our Community", this result is listed:
- $500, 000 for two research projects at Baycrest aimed at improving care of seniors
It is also circled in the screen grab.
This is one of the grants listed in the auditor-general's report that cost Colle his job.
So if they do get around to cleaning up the page devoted to Colle, it'll be interesting to see what results get knocked off his list.
