The National Post sent reporters to the Exile bookstore, looking into the background of Jeff Monaghan, an anarchist and a former government contract employee, terminated because he allegedly leaked Environment Canada documents related to the Kyoto accord to the media and fellow environmentalists:
Emblazoned at the top of the Web site is the shop's motto: "There's no government like no government."
A volunteer who answered the phone at the shop yesterday refused to discuss Mr. Monaghan's actions. "We're not authorized to talk to you," she said.
Not authorized? You mean, you recognize some sort of authority over your right to speak to anyone at anytime about anything, regardless of oaths of confidentiality and other such vestiges of milito-patriarchal society?
I guess it's one thing to be bragging about how you're an agent of chaos ready to bring down the corrupt system...

...but when there are police involved, and a term in prison is a possibility, then the beard comes off, you start sporting a nice shirt and tie, stand in front of the flag, and you don't say a word unless someone gives you permission:

Anarchy's hero.
