As you've no doubt noticed, I've rolled some more advertising on the site. Nothing too intrusive, but I think it is every blogger's right to try and make a quick buck from all the toil that goes into blogging. Now banners are joining Google Adsense and Google Referrals. One particular set of banners, for products and services from Franklin-Covey, will be shown most often. There's a reason for that.

Main Story

Franklin-Covey is a company in the time-management business. Franklin Quest acquired Stephen R Covey's Covey Leadership Center in 1997, developing products and training based on Covey's The Seven Effective Habits of Effective People:

Stephen R. Covey's 7 Habits at FranklinCovey.com

At Franklin-Covey, you can buy planners, software, training material, and assessment services designed to make you more effective as an individual and as an organization.

Sounds good, but what makes Franklin-Covey special to me? The Canadian headquarters is located a stone's throw from my home here in Cambridge, Ontario. And unlike a lot of affiliate programs, Franklin-Covey offers online specials aimed at Canadian consumers. As 70% of my readership is Canadian, I appreciate that and hope that you do too. I also know my readership is heavily skewed to professionals, managers, and government officials, all of whom probably use Franklin-Covey products, or similar. If you're reading the blog and are in the market for some top-notch organization or time-management products, consider checking out Franklin-Covey via the banners on the website. For me, it's nice to know that though I have readership from across our great country, I can offer a product that supports people working in my small piece of Canada.
