mesh 07 is going to include a panel on political blogging, but ahead of the May 30 conference, political bloggers are invited to The Charlotte Room to get the discussion started early.

Whether you’re a political blogger, party stalwart, consultant or media observer, or like us just plain fascinated by the impact that the Web is having on the way we discuss, organize and create political change, come on out and join us and folks from the Toronto Web 2.0 community on May 9 for snacks and libations at The Charlotte Room - details and signup at the Upcoming site, and please help to get the word out by forwarding this post to someone you can beat at eight-ball. Worst case, you can settle your political differences the way we were meant to - over libations and pool tables.

Sorry I can't register for this event, Steve, because I'm not a blogger.
I'm just wondering, after looking at the speaker lineup, why none of the Blogging Tories are included at mesh 07, in particular, why you're not going to be speaking.
Who are all of these speakers, anyway?

Andrew Coyne, Scott Feschuk, some other people -- pros who have a media life outside of blogging, so they can speak to the changes they're seeing.
