You have to give credit to Stephane Dion, though. Not every leader would tolerate being upstaged by his deputy, and on TV no less. Stephane Dion might not be a great leader, but he's a great team player.
Update: Other people have noted the same thing:

Opposition leaders almost always get better over time. Mr. Dion’s strained English will surely get better, just as Mr. Harper’s French improved.
Right now, Mr. Dion looks weak, especially in comparison to deputy leader Michael Ignatieff, his former rival, whose performances in question period are top-notch.
Interesting. I agree with Stephen Maher except on one point. I don't think Michael Ignatieff can be accurately labeled a former rival, if you get my drift.




Can Stephane Dion inspire Canadians? The real question is whether he can inspire his own Liberal caucus.
