Eva Ho, Jackie Li, and Kevin Lim: The search moves to YouTube

Toronto Police have been stumped in the search for Eva Ho, Jackie Li and Kevin Lim. They have been missing since August. Toronto Police did not seem to take the disappearance too seriously. It was assumed that Eva, 17, ran away with her two friends, both 18. But others who knew Eva insist that this was out of character, or that the discovery of the skeletal remains of Phllip Sit only days before the trio disappeared, a boy who had been missing for a year and was presumed murdered, is linked to the disappearance.

Desperate to move the case forward, Toronto Police have put two videos on YouTube:

I'm not certain what the statue is going to do, and the cynic in me wonders if it is a sign of the lack of any real leads. I suppose psychics aren't far behind. That the artist doesn't believe that Eva, Jackie, or Kevin are in danger also makes me wonder if Toronto authorities are still working on the assumption that this is not really a police matter. In any case, the artist, A. D. Milne, could have kept that opinion to himself -- it only serves to undermine the seriousness with which people treat this situation.

Oh, I would have prefered that less time was spent on Milne and his abstract sheet metal cutout and more on actual pictures of Eva, Jackie, and Kevin. Just a suggestion.

To that end, here are pictures of all three:
