In a stunning display of crass hypocrisy, Dalton McGuinty, Ontario's Liberal premier, has allowed government-run casinos to build smoking shelters for its patrons.

Privately owned bars and restaurants in Ontario cannot make any effort to accommodate smokers. It's against the law for them. And they've suffered tremendously as a result.

The casinos were hurting too, until someone whispered the word "money" into McGuinty's ear. And now everything changes.
