Someone in the UK was googling "c4 plastic explosive for sale":

I'm not particularly worried. What self-respecting professional terrorist would use an AOL account to Google for C‑4? Of course, there are unprofessional terrorists with little self-respect.
Still, it is a bit worrying because I rank 49th for this search term. The searcher spent a moment on my web page ("The threat from nuclear terrorists" from a year ago) and moved on. Forty-nine websites and he still couldn't find what he was looking for. Was he looking to buy? In the 48 prior sites listed, none linked to companies that actually sold explosives. One, Secure Search, sold "simulants" for C‑4 to be used in the testing of the efficacy of security devices. Just about all the other matches were for news stories and articles in which C‑4 played a role.
No demolitions firm or chemical company has any paid ads associated with that search term either.
So no paid ads to check out, and all the organic hits are to sites which don't actually sell C‑4. None of those hits seemed to interest our Googler. He was looking for something...else. Having the patience to go to the 49th Google rank and beyond, this person was clearly motivated.
And in case it needs to be said, I don't sell C‑4 explosives through Angry in the Great White North, nor do I have any idea where you can get your hands on the stuff.
