I always thought that stealing from the native peoples was a sin committed by rapacious corporate interests. Enlightened members of the left, with their anti-globalization mind set, know better than to take what is not theirs.
Shows you what I know.
Here's the flag of the Mohawk Warriors:

And here is the banner for the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty:

What an interesting coincidence.
OCAP is the violent advocacy group for the homeless in Toronto. They do support the Six Nations action (of course), but their mandate has little to do with the Mohawk Warriors or their goals:
OCAP is a direct-action anti-poverty organization based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We mount campaigns against regressive government policies as they affect poor and working people. In addition, we provide direct-action advocacy for individuals against eviction, termination of welfare benefits, and deportation. We believe in the power of people to organize themselves.
I doubt the Mohawk Warriors give a second's thought to the working poor in Toronto, unless it is to sell them cigarettes. They are more interested in the wealthy people who can spend money in casinos.
Do you think OCAP gets much support, financially speaking, from the Mohawk Warriors? Me neither. Somehow, I can't see the Mohawk Warriors being too pleased that their symbols are being usurped by a bunch of white warrior wannabees.

I think it’s time for the governments to step in and shut down the native occupation in Ontario, stand up to the natives and say ‘if you want anything from us in the future then you and your people must obey the law and there to be no further protests of any kind, no laws broken under any circumstance. If that happens talks will be broken off at once and all and being negotiated on surrendered to the government to do as they please’.
I think the time for the government and Canadians to stand up is now and not let Canada be handed over as it is happening in British Columbia and Alberta every day. I am not against natives living in Canada just the way they cry and cry until the government hands them all the land and money they want! A time for a change.
I also think the federal Government should step in and shut down the Mohawks tobacco business which is operating illegally. I have watch news reports where the persons running it say ‘if anyone tries to shut us down I will kill them, if any government forces, police forces enter my land; I’ll shoot them on sight!’ words like that are words of war to most people listening. Again, A time for Change is needed before it all goes to far and spins out of control.

Making mountains out of molehills again I see, Janke!
Um ... if you had bothered to check OCAP's website you would find that they have a large membership of aboriginal people ... who are poor. This is not a surprise to most people. If it is a surprise to you ... how does your complete ignorance qualify you to write on this topic??? Slow day in the defamation business??

True Canadian ... you'd better read up on your Canadian history.
We can't stop it. They have legal rights. Canada has tried to destroy them so we could keep the land but it hasn't worked. Canada has to finally pay for the land. THEN there will be law and order, and perhaps Canada can think about becoming an honourable country again.
The current problems in Caledonia are caused by one businessman conducting a vendetta against Six Nations, and manipulating people (some say paying them) to be obnoxious and throw stones at them, etc. He is an a**.
The government is negotiating. There is no need for anxiety or concern. The Haudenosaunee people are staying on the land.

Are you listening to yourself?? There is a reason they are called natives!! Can you please pack your bags and go back to where you & your dumbass ancestors came from - you know, the ones who stole NATIVE lands all over the damn world and suddenly want everyone out of there.
