Tonight on the NTV program Utawara, pop star Kumi Koda hosted the first ever Chibi Ero Dance competition, a competition in which little girls imitated Kumi Koda's sexy/erotic dance style. Girls between the ages of 2 and 12 dressed up in sexy costumes like Koda wears in her videos, put on heavy make up, and danced their hearts out.

Now Ms Koda is a big girl and can do as she pleases. But having young girls wear a pair of coconuts and dance on stage?

Well, I'm not sure if coconuts made an appearance. How about putting 9-year-old girls in midriff-baring Playboy bunny outfits, complete with bikini bottoms, and then having them do the can-can? No joke. Suggestive dancing, high-kicks aimed at the viewer, bending over to show off their...well, here are a couple of pics:

In cultures with a weaker taboo against ephebophilia, however, it is often commonplace, most notably in Japan, where actresses who take part in it are usually described as kogals or schoolgirls, and where even in mainstream pornography adult actresses often do their best to seem childish.

Ick. I guess thanks to Kumi Koda and parents who don't seem to know better, they're starting them early.
