Casey Sheehan finally gets his monument (via email from the family).
CASEY AUSTIN SHEEHAN
May 29, 1979
April 4, 2004
Our Casey
Ever faithful, kind, and gentle. Good
son, beloved brother, brave soldier, dear
friend. You loved your family and lived
your life serving others 'til the end.
Rest in peace.
This is good news. However, the occassion of the monument finally being placed was not one of reconciliation and healing.

Considering that the latest that photo was taken was yesterday, that would mean it took 2 years, 2 months and 2 days from the day of his death to have his tombstone erected.
That isn't unusual, is it?

One Canadian who thinks that Casey Sheehan has been used in a way he would not approve of; by his own mother who in my opinion is a pathetic bugger and bastard of the U.S. left wing anti American political establishment. May he rest in piece.

Cindy Sheehan is a disgrace to all of the soldiers, men and women worldwide, who have been trying to stabilize a barren and lawless part of the world for three years. And losing life or limb. Casey Sheehan deserved better.
