Lots of money flowed into Abotech from the government. To do what? It's not obvious.
From the "Public Accounts of Canada: Professional and Special Services" over the last few years, we can finally learn what Abotech, the company once run by David Smith, Liberal MP for the riding of Pontiac, does:
PUBLIC WORKS AND GOVERNMENT SERVICES
Government Services Program
Other professional services (aggregate payments)
Earlier years of the Public Accounts do not identify Abotech.
A total of $851,214 for "Other professional services", all from PWGSC where David Smith used to work as a senior bureaucrat, performed in David Smith's house.
Well, that's clear as mud.

"Other" could mean so many things. Reminds me of an American Lie-beral who once said, "Well, that depends on how you define IT." Funny how the left are always hiding behind the meaning of different words or the lap dogs that they themselves appointed. Judgement day will come for those corrupt criminal politicians and their minions. I wonder if their wives and girlfriends will wait for them.
HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Angry, have you emailed Mr. Smith to find out what it is his company 'does'? Maybe you don't need to do so much snooping around?

Alternate news , reviews and exchanges about Canada going down the tubes in a hand basket is great enjoyment. Can’t get enough.
For some lighter narcissistic fun, navel gazing fun, try:
http://www.URLtrends.com
You can get a quality 4 page report on your website there and I guarantee you will find it interesting.
Most interesting, I find, is where you get to see other sites who have taken an interest in you and said nothing about it.
The report is free, however, if you decide to get serious like Angry, Strong, and Kate, you can get a steady one year watch and report for up to 50 blogsites for about $50 Canadian - $44 American.
I think it’s amazing that you can get these free reports from URLTrends.com. I wonder how much longer that will last? 73s TG

Who says I haven't? I'm working other fronts. If something happens, I'll be posting. Keep watching this space.

Interesting research... keep it up... hopefully the MSM will pick up on the story... if not send it to the nearest CPC MP... I'm sure they'd love another scandal.
So basicly the corruption permiates through every level of the Liberal party... not really surprising really but still annoying

Definitely keep working those "other fronts" Angry. Certainly somebody has to put this front and centre. People have to be informed just how crooked the Liberal government is. From what we have seen between the Adscam deal and Dingbat-Dingwall, this would be the icing on the cake to give people a paint-by-numbers direction to understanding how corrupt the government is.
Now, if we could only have people doing an honest investigation into Earnscliffe... perhaps we could see PMPM running for the hills.

Great sleuthing! Isn’t Sheila Fraser still looking to hire a few people for her department?
From your previous entry: "My interest was piqued by the fact that I could not find any web presence for this computer consulting firm called Abotech. What sort of computer company doesn't have a web presence?"
I noticed that as well some time back when I was doing a search on some contracts awarded to another company. Lots of contracts but no web presence. Abotech plus others. Question is ‘how many others’?
In addition to disclosing the name, address & the dollar amount of the contract, if the disclosure rules required that the major principals list previous employment and family/friend ties with government I'm sure we'd see that the majority of them are separated by only one or two degrees.
